Sweet Tutumi is a very young blog dedicated to everyone huge on beautiful design. It touches on paper goods, stationery, crafts, textiles, illustrations...  practically everything that suits my taste for cute, pretty, whimsical, crisp or elegant. Its mission is to feature lovely products you can purchase, shops you can shop, designers you can hire, artists and studios you can commission, and above all... inspiration you can bank on to get those creative juices flowing.

... a bit about THE AUTHOR

Uhmmm... that would be me! I blog under the pseudonym, Mikki Wall... which I made up to break the 'curse' that crippled every blog I started using my real name. So why 'Mikki Wall'? Well, that's primarily because of the makeshift wall that separates my 'studio' from the chaos of the bigger storage room that houses it. Yeah, I know I should have been more creative but I spent weeeeeeks thinking of a nice name and nothing seemed to work. I had to make do with the wall. :(

Anyway, I'm a designer, illustrator and maker of sorts... without any formal art education, training or background. Sheer love of colour, cuteness and sleek workmanship fuels my art which I also hope to share with my readers through this blog.  (Oops... I hope that doesn't undermine my objectivity. <wink-wink!>)

On a more personal note, I'm a mom of three, a wife of one (not that I'm complaining) and a friend to a lucky few. I'm not so much into trends or fashion, but I certainly can't live without makeup. I don't cook. I don't jog. I eat... a lot.
